Trust.
It’s a very fragile thing.
You have to carefully build it up. You have to nurture it with consistency and honoring your word. You have to take care of it.
Once you’ve gained trust, it’s amazing. It’s freeing. It helps you grow. It gives you confidence. It helps you do amazing things.
But once you break it, it’s hard to put it back. Sometimes, even impossible.
It can take either small things that piled up to break trust, or a single big event. Either way, the results are disheartening.
So be very careful of trust - whether it’s the trust your customer gives you, your friends, your employers, your partner, your family - it’s all the same.
It takes time to build it and it takes little to break it.
