Around mid December last year, Michee and I decided we wanted to help one more entrepreneur at the start of 2018. Michee challenged me to get a sign up. With much confidence I told her “We’ll have one. Give me until the end of January.”
I wrote the email copy announcing our 1 open slot. It was sent out. We took a week off for Christmas & New Year’s. On January 3rd, Michee again reminded me of that 1 sign up I promised. I said, I still have plenty of time. I told her that I’m pretty sure we’ll have one within the deadline.
Yesterday was January 18. And we had a sign up.
Confidence, is a wonderful thing. Often times, it is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
