When it comes to picking our clients, we’re very meticulous. We hop on a call to determine if we are a great fit meaning we are the best people to help them out in their business. Of course, not all our calls turn into a sale. We don’t want that to happen.
We’ve turned away quite a number of entrepreneurs after finding out that we’re not the best fit for what they needed at that moment. In some instances, there were some who were just one foot in with their decision to get someone to help them out. In this case, we still do not push for the sale. There were also those who told us we’re a little bit too expensive for their budget. Still, we do not lower our price just to get the sale.
Here’s the thing I realized. When I am outside and I get thirsty, I will seek for a store where they sell water. I don’t need convincing to buy that bottle of water.
So why not seek the ones who are thirsty for what you’re selling? It’s better to spend your time and effort seeking those who are looking for you.
P.S. I always bring my glass bottle of water now. It’s one small thing I can do to stop plastic pollution. 🌱
