I now consciously make an effort to steer away from conversations that are angry, visceral, and laced with vitriol. It’s a waste of time to engage with such conversations. There’s no room for discussion and exchange of ideas. Everything gets drowned out by shallow stereotypes and sweeping generalizations that are not useful or helpful. You can walk away from such conversations too. Even if those talks are with your friends. Because this kind of talk is not the best you can do.
