It’s such a romantic idea to go out there, present your product or work, and make an impact in whatever way you can. But the thing is we’re quite pedants. We have this ultimate standard of perfection. That everything should not be without a hitch. We stress ourselves out with every minute detail. We convince ourselves that it’s not yet ready, that we’re not yet ready. Because it is nerve-racking to be on the spotlight. And to be responsible for the outcome - especially the outcome you don’t want. But your quest for perfection is just going to get you stuck. And in case you have not noticed, we live in an imperfect world.
