When we picture growth, we see it as something linear. Something that goes higher, bigger, farther.
It’s not the reality though.
Growth is never linear.
It’s complicated.
Sometimes, you know that you are moving forward everyday. Then you hit a wall. Everything at a standstill.
Sometimes, setbacks happen and it feels like you’ve shifted the gears and drive in reverse.
Feeling the linear growth of moving forward is the easy part.
It’s when you hit a wall or shift gears into reverse, that’s when it can be debilitating. It can paralyze you and make you think that there’s something wrong with you.
STOP.
When you’re in either of these less than appealing situations, that’s when the massive growth happens - if you push through it and not give up.
There’s nothing wrong with you. If anything, you are doing something right. It may seem easier to doubt yourself but know this -
You are doing okay. You’re growing. You’ll be fine. You can do this.
