Alla and I have been working on something that we plan to launch this year. (Hint: It’s got something to do with branding). It has been taking longer than usual because we can only commit to focus on it one day a week. Why just once a week? Because we decided that other than I Need A Michee, we want to focus on self-care. We want to take care of ourselves again and catch-up on what we took for granted when I Need A Michee needed 110% from us. I Need A Michee is now at a point where our team is working so well with each other that we now have some spare time. When we realized this, we asked ourselves, do we give this time to another product or do we prioritize ourselves? We decided to prioritize us this time. So yes, this product has been slowly progressing. With just once a week of focused work, we can only do so much for it. But that’s okay. These little steps that we get to take every week is still better than just letting the idea be just an idea. If you’re in a state where you can’t give everything just yet to a project, it’s okay to give it what you can as of the moment. What’s important is that on that moment that you work on it, whether it’s one hour a week or one hour a day, you give it your 100% focus and make sure you are consistent. If you are focused and consistent, you’ll see progress and progress no matter how “small” is still better than just daydreaming about it.
