Let’s face it. We’re not perfect and so sometimes, tempers fly.
Sometimes, for “reasonable” reasons. Sometimes, for unreasonable ones. Sometimes, you can feel it building up over the course of weeks or days. Sometimes, it comes as a surprise. Sometimes, it takes the slightest petty event to break you.
Think back. When was the last time you had a temper burst out of your system? You feel it rising in your body until you utter words that weigh a lot. As soon as you do, as soon as you let it out, you’re faced with the consequences of your words. Then you feel deflated.
It happens. To anyone. To everyone. It’s okay. It’s not pleasant nor ideal but it’s okay.
What you do next will be as important as what just happened. What do you do?
Collect yourself and address what happened. Make sure that you work it out with the people involved. Apologize if need be.
Then let it go. Move on from it.
No one can be in a positive mood all the time. Take it as a reminder that you are human.
And that is a good thing to have - your humanity.
